Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Closed Captioning Mistake

In the part of this movie where Ferris, Cameron, and Sloane are at the baseball game, but on closed captioning. When Cameron is saying "Su-wing, Batter! He can't hit he can't hit he can't hit..." really fast, on closed captioning, it says "Kennedy Kennedy Kennedy..."

It's actually pretty funny!

They don't always print the exact words that the actors say, since, as somebody said, they may have been ad-libbing, or, in other cases, perhaps they shortened the line on the closed-captioning so that you could following along with the movie.; 1 of 1 people found this comment helpful. Mookie writes:: As someone already pointed out, why in the world would anyone be yelling "Kennedy!"??? It's "He can't hit!' I've loved this movie since it came out and my friends and I used to quote this all the time. It wasn't until I got the DVD last year that I saw the "Kennedy!" thing. The fact that there are so many people who thought he was yelling that makes it understandable that whoever did the captioning might have thought it too.
