Watch when Elektra King takes off her earring to show Bond her ear. Now pay close attention when she moves closer to the neck-breaking chair. You can see her earring is back on just for a breif second. Just before the explosion outside, you'll get a better view and you can clearly see her earring is on. But after she took it off, she made no motion to put it back on.
