Replacements, The - Time Out?
In the movie, The Replacements, the Sentinels kick an on-side kick to try to recover the ball, which they do. The Sentinels say that they have to call a time out or the clock will run out. The reason this is a slip-up is that during a kick-off, the clock will stop no matter what happens after a team recovers the ball. If the receving team gets the ball, they can run until they are tackled, but if the kicking team recovers the clock is automatically stopped. The other mistake the people make is that the Sentinels pick up the ball and run with it, which as I stated before wouldn't happen, because the clock is automatically stopped if the receving team gets the ball.

Actually, Danny Bateman (#56) was able to run with the ball because when the Sentinels kicked it, #23 on the other team grabbed the ball but was hit and dropped it. But, since the offensive team touched the ball, it allows the defensive team to run with it.
