Wayne's World - New CD Player
In a scene where Wayne is showing off his new car CD player, he pops in a CD and plays it. The music (from the soundtrack album) starts--in the middle of the song! Tapes resume playing from where you leave off, but CDs always start from the beginning.

I don't believe this was a slip up. The director/producer probably would have wanted to have the background music in a good part of the song.

I, as well, once had a Sony Discman about 6 or 7 years ago that had the "resume" feature. It broke after about two years, but that's not important.
