Hey Arnold - What's Wrong with You?
In the episode when everyone thinks Grandpa is going to die because of the "family curse", Grandpa realizes he won't die and he and Arnold go out for ice cream at... wait a minute! It's past midnight and they are going out for ice cream.
Also, in the dining room had only one door and it was on the right and the boarders were going left to leave the room. But they would be walking into a wall if they went that way!

About the ice cream one, as grandpa and Arnold are leaving the house, grandpa says, "I hope we can find a place that's open this late." or something to that effect. So, they knew that it was late and was not a slip - up.

Even if he doesn't say I hope there's a place open, I guarantee there is some ice cream place in New York open 24/7. There are a lot of weird things in New York...

Nice catch on the ice cream, but think about it. Does every shop in the world close at six? I know of an ice cream shop near me that is open 24/7, don't doubt it!
