To Wong Foo, Thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar - From Paperback Book to Hardcover?
When the drag queens are staying in the small country town waiting for their car to be fixed, they take all the ladies for new outfits at the local store. Patrick Swayze (dressed in drag), gives the store clerk a book that he swears by and tells him to read it. The book is clearly a well read paperback. In the next scene, you see the clerk reading the book but it's miraculously changed into a Hard cover.

I noticed this slip up too. I can not believe they would substitute a hard cover with a paperback. Sometimes, there is a long time period between shooting in movies. Maybe they told someone to find a copy of the book for the scene and totally forgot it was originally shot with a hard copy of the book. What else could the reason be for such a blatantly obvious goof up.

Did you notice that the 'new' book is also about half the size of the 'original'! That's my moms' favorite movie so she notices these things too!
