Watch the while rocky enters the ring for the fight in Russia against Ivan. If you pay attention you will here the crowd boo. In Europe and Asia the crowds do not boo. The crowds whistle. Later on the correction was made but as here comes in you can still hear the crowd boo.
If you understood the meaning of the Rocky movies, you would know it's about an average American defying odds. The movies were targeted toward an American audience, therefor, not everyone knows that whistles and cat calls are Europe's form of boos and that boos are actually a universal sign of disagreement.
