Mummy, The - Where's the Book?

In The Mummy, close to the beginning, when the

librarian is on the ladder putting away books.

She starts to lose her balance on the ladder with a book in her hand. Suddenly, she grabs on to the ladder with both hands. Where's the book? The book

didn't thump to the floor, you can't see it on the floor, it's not on a shelf. Where'd it go? It disappeared.
