When the Rockford Peaches go into a Christian church to pray before they leave for their next game, they all do their crosses and leave after Tom Hank's character comes in to get them. As he goes to leave he also crosses himself and the cross he performs is an Orthodox one. Crossing to the right then left as opposed to a Catholic one, from left to right. Coach Jimmy isn't Greek Orthodox but Tom Hanks belongs to that church.
