Intersection - Wrong Country
In this movie (which hardly anyone has seen, by the way), Richard Gere plays and architect in Vancouver, B.C. (CANADA). It takes place in and around the Vancouver area, and at one point, the revered Mr. Gere is racing around the country in his spiffy sports car. The speed limit is set at 50 in the countryside. This couldn't possibly be Canada, because we have the $%#@!! metric system. 50kph is 30mph, whereas 50mph is about 70-80kph.

Good catch!! And you're right about not many people watching it. I've seen it a few times and love it! I know that Canada has the same metric system as the UK.
