Mama Cass was eating a ham sandwich when she died and it was assumed of course that she had choked on it. When the autopsy came back though her death was ruled a heart attack.

Even though Mama Cass did die from a heart attack, and it is a legend that she choked on a sandwich, it IS a legend, so it doesn't matter what kind of sandwich it is!

uh, i believe he was not implying that they choked on a sandwich. The person in question died of a heart attack due to being overweight, which is a common thing. The "Ham Sandwich" comment is implying that the person over ate rather than choked.
