The war has ended as Kay (Goldie Hawn) picks Jack (Ed Harris) up from his ship. As they return to their apartment and prepare to discuss the unresolved issue of Kay's affair with Lucky (Kurt Russell) Jack, a little nervous, goes to the refrigerator and gets them each beer. He opens the beer for Kay and as he hands it to her you'll notice the freshly opened bottle is empty!
