Blair Witch Project - Was It Really the First Time They Met?
There is a picture of the 3 of them (Josh, Mike and Heather) standing outside their college before they leave for their project.
I'm sure that in the movie it's the first time Heather meets Mike because in Josh's car they shake hands and the conversation goes like this:
Heather: How are you Mike? It's nice to meet you.
Mike: I'm doing good, and I'm very excited about this. Thank you for the opportunity.
Heather: Well, thank you for getting the equipment together.

I'm sorry about this slip up. I was one of the editors. We must admit we slipped up there. It was actually the make up artist who came up up with that dialog. We were not sure to use it but it seemed to work well in the context.

No, I think it's a definite slip-up! Ed and Dan should have been more careful.

They might have taken that picture together and yet didn't really meet.

I think that this is an obvious slip-up. If the directors were trying to make the point that they were meeting for the first time, they should have paid attention. I guess we are all much smarter than these so-called producers and directors and writers!
