Simpsons - Name Slip-Up
In the episode where the Simpsons get a pool and Bart breaks his leg and is spying on people with a telescope he scans many windows. In one of these windows you see Jimmy Stewart as L.B. Jefferies from the Hitchcock movie Rear Window. You see Jeff stare right at Bart and then say something like "Grace, come quick, there's a sinister looking boy over there"(and then he falls over I think). Anywho, he calls her "Grace" which is the name of the actress (Grace Kelly) who played the character he's talking to (Lisa Carol Fremont). All, I'm saying is he should have called her Lisa not Grace.

Maybe they used her real name for people who had never seen Vertigo so they wouldn't get confused since there's already a character on the show named Lisa.

It's Rear Window, not Vertigo! I think the use of Grace is appropriate. I would have asked "who the hell is Lisa?", had they not chosen Grace. Plus, you have the whole same name as Bart's sister issue.

im thinking it was intentional because they do have a lisa on the show already. and since a lot of younguns watch simpsons they probably would not know of rear window and then ask, "why is he calling for lisa simpson?" so i see why that might not be a slipup.
