After the explosion of the cable car, Smith rides back to the castle on top of another car. As he reaches the top, Mary and Cartwright-Jones are transported to the cable car station, and they all get into the car to leave. Schaffer starts the car and then runs aboard it where the others are waiting for him. Trouble is, the car doesn't start moving until Schaffer gets aboard it.
