Simpsons - Lisa's Dead Cat Changes Colors?
OK. Watch the Halloween special number 3. On the cartoon named "Dial Z for Zombies!" Lisa is mourning over the 3 year anniversary of her cat, Snowball 1. Well, Snowball the first is white! She is clearly looking at a picture of her current cat, Snowball the 2nd.
For example, in the episode where homer explains the origin of Lisa's sax, the cat is white. So this clarifies that she's looking at the wrong cat. Whoops!

Is "Dial Z for zombies!" the one where Bart brings back the dead?

Yes, "Dial Z for Zombies" is the cartoon sketch in the third Halloween episode where: Bart accidentally reads the wrong spell and brings people alive rather than Lisa's cat. P.S. here are some corrections to my slip up: She was looking at a picture of a black cat, which was snowball the II<==== just wanted to clarify that ;)

Maybe Lisa was just looking at her new snowball 2 because it reminded her of snowball 1.

In The Simpsons first episode book there is a pic in the front dedicating it to Snowball I and that cat is black, not white!

I think snowball I was white . . . sometimes they get sloppy in animation, like cheif wiggums's hair can be black in a crowd but blue in a close-up . . . people can be entirely yellow in a crwod, hair, eyes and all . . . if in the scene you're referring to the cat is just off in a corner they probably just didn't fill it in.

no, Snowball I is black just like Snowball II if you look in The Simpsons rainy day fun book it shows a picture of Snowball I and she is black. it says "To the memory of Snowball I" and it shows a picture of a black cat with tire marks on its side

Hi, its me CyberMooshka again...well... most of you have said that it has been black on the front of the covers (not all the same illustrators of the show actually do the drawings, neither does Matt Groening,) so theres still a chance that those people just drew it wrong on those Simpsons books. But answer this, why would Lisa Simpsons name her first cat snowball? I mean, I would think that she would name a white cat snowball, not black.

Obviously there has been some sort of mistake, but I think that the real senario is this: Snowball I was the name of Lisa's origional cat, but unfortunately he died. To replace Snowball, Marge and Homer got her a new cat, and the joke is that even though the new cat is black they named it snowball anyway, to remind them of their old cat. When we first join the Simpsons, they have Snowball II, who is black. Any future pictures of Snowball I as a black cat are the slip-ups.
