Any Given Sunday - The Lights Are Low in Big D
In the final game of the movie when they play in Dallas, you will see through out most of the game that there are lights about 40-50 feet over the field, thus making it impossible to punt the ball or throw a long ball down the field. These lights were added for the movie, they are not there when the Cowboys play there. In fact, there is nothing over the field, even a roof. Texas Stadium is virtually a dome with a hole cut in the roof exactly the same size as the field. Those lights are being hung by the roof.

That isn't the real NFL. They don't play the cowboys so it doesn't matter what lights the stadium had. It is a made-up team. It is a made-up stadium. In made up league. So the stadium can be design anyway they want it.

also, you have to remember that with the lights of the stadium so close and the all of the lights of the screen sets, it would be really bright, and then they really couldn't see what they were doing. so in order to actually see anything, they were right to put the lights up so far.

Also, during the game with Dallas, there is a shot pointing up getting the top of Texas stadium where you can see some Dallas Cowboys championship flags hanging.
