Meet The Parents - Lava Lamp
When Greg first goes into Jacks secret CIA room and is seen by Jack, he is facing with his back to wall with the computer and the desk, on the desk is a lava lamp. First shot of Greg talking to Jack the lava lamp doesn't have any lava moving, but when the second of Greg comes the lava is moving up and down. Then in the third shot we can see that the lava is back to being one lump.

Isn't that what lava lamps do?I've seen this movie twice,and I don't think that is a slip-up.

Hey that's pretty good. I have a lava lamp and it takes like two hours to heat up so it was definately a mistake.

Well maybe the lava lamp is broken and not operating right. They probably didn't want to fix it cause it adds to the effect.

My lava lamp only takes 30 seconds or so, but it's fairly new. *Shrug* I don't really consider this a mistake. They cannot make the lava look exactly the same if they shoot the shot in parts at separate times.
