War of the Roses - What's My Name Again?
This has got to be one of the worst slip-ups in movie history. It takes place shortly after the Christmas tree in the Rose household burns down. Oliver (Michael Douglas) is talking to his lawyer friend Gavin (Danny DeVito) about dividing up the house between him and Barbara. Gavin thinks this idea is ludicrous and tells him to forget it and that "there are other houses, there are other women" to which Oliver replies "No, No, No 'DEVITO', I'm going to win cause I've got her to accept the ground rules." Oliver actually calls Gavin 'DEVITO'! I wonder how that slipped into the final cut...pretty weird.

Oliver's use of the name Devito could have been an insulting reference to the fact that Gavin kind of looks like Danny Devito, like when somebody does something stupid, and someone else says, "Nice going, Einstein!" or "Smooth move, MacGyver!"

Oliver Rose (Michael Douglas) didn't say Devito when talking to Gavin (Danny DeVito), he called him Gavino. Both the DVD subtitles and the closed captioning confirm that he says Gavino, not DeVito nor Amigo.
