13th Warrior - Translation Missing
When the young boy enters the viking encampment at the beginning of the movie and tells his message, Melchizadek manages to translate it directly from the Norwegian without the intermediate step of Herger's Greek. Certainly the additional step would have cut down on the 'drama' of the scene, but to break the double translation rule only for this scene seems a bit sloppy.

That isn't a slip-up. Obviously the director did it to save time, and for a more dramatic effect. Although a relevant and valid point, this is not a slip-up, and should not be on this page.

If you watch, and listen carefully, you will see the old arab dude getting a translation from, the Norse dude, and the old arab dude, is translating on a word per word basis.
