At the beginning of "Halloween IV", the orderly says that Michael Myers killed 16 people on Halloween night in 1978. This number is a little steep. He didn't kill that many.
I am a diehard fan of these movies and I can only think of 12 that were killed: Annie, Lynda & her boyfriend Bob in part one. Then in part two he killed Mr.Garrett, Bud the night watchman, an ambulance driver, nurses Jill, Karen and Janet, Mrs Alves and Mr Mixter. Who am I forgetting its been driving me insane. Thanks!
Also in Part 2 Michael killed a girl that lived down the street from the Wallace's house. She was on the phone talking to her friend and he walked in her house and killed her. And he killed the Marshall that came to get Dr. Loomis, after Loomis convinced him to take them back to the hospital. That's 14.
i've been thinking about this since the first time i found this site. so here it go's
the first person michael kills is the garage attendent who's boiler suit he takes. then he kills annie. then he kills lynda's boyfriend and then go's upstairs and kills lynda.
then in part two the first person he kills is a girls who i think is babysitting. then at the hospital he kills mr.garrett. the next two are the ambulance driver and a nurse down in the hydro therepy pool. then we see a nurse looking for mr.mixter. she finds him dead and is killed also with a needle in her temple. then mrs.alves is found by the paramedic.
the next one is the blonde nurse, she see's lori walking down the hall
when she calls to her michael steps out and kills her.
the last person to die is the federal marshall who leans over michael's body and says he's dead. but michael sits up and kills him.
Here are my theories:
(A)It's possible that they counted Judith by mistake. Then, if Jimmy died from head injuries, that makes 15. That way they're only off by one.
(B)They could've meant 16 LIVES taken that night. If they counted either Judith by mistake, plus the dog, there's 16 lives taken. (I think this is highly unlikely). It is possible that they just counted the deaths in the movie, and not the fact that they were years apart.
Remember that Laurie (Jamie Lee Curtis) is declared dead to protect her from Michael Myers (where she changes her name) if I remember right in Halloween H20. Could that possibly be the extra one that was killed even though she really did not die?
