Home Improvement - Staged Slip-Up
This slip up was found in the episode where Tim has to go bowling with his boss, Jill gets mad, the same old story. During the beginning, (the Tool Time segment) they are teaching you how to install an automatically closing sliding door. Tim says he gave it more power with a Binford magnet. Nobody wants to try it, so he walks through, and the door shoots closed, but breaks off the track (so it seems) and hits a guy. When Tool Time was on the air during that segment, the camera gave the illusion that the door slid off and hit the guy on its own, but when they go to commercial, and Tim says to the guy, "Mention me and get the special Tim Taylor suite." you can clearly see the track placed so the door flew right at the man.

think about it this way. 75 pound door going about 5 or so mph how long would it stay up by itself? about where the end of the frame is at plus they did that so that the door would acutally direct itself off scene and not hit anyone. did you really think someone got hit by that?
