In My Humble Opinion.. this is a large company, and Neo is one of their programmers. This might be the companies "cutsy" play on words calling their programmers "techs" Meta CorTECHS. Just a suggestion

One element of this film that most people fail to see is the sense of humour within it. The Wachowski Brother's include numerous and uncountable visual jokes, so perhaps this is just another to add to their list.

It's obviously an oversight, but I like the idea that you can explain it away as a change in the matrix. After all, this is the scene where the agents show up to get Neo. . .

I'm not a fanatic fan, but I would say this is more of an egg than a slip-up.

I've seen this one before, Although it is most likely to be a mistake. It's very possible somebody at metacortex ordered a small banner spelled wrong. I know plenty of businesses that are not great at spelling. "quik" whatever comes to mind.
