Truman Show, The - Plot ?

As I understand Truman has a camera in the Ring on his finger? Then how come when he escaped and everybody is looking for him nobody ever looked on what that camera was showing? they would find him in a second.. its like he had a tracing device on him all the time..

How come Meryl, who was watching Truman on TV, knew what he was looking at (since she smiled, I assume she knew what he was looking at). Hobbes writes:: As we all know, Merrile leaves Truman. It's quite obvious since, the Cristoff mentioned his plans for that season on "True-Talk." Truman is also obviously devastated over his sudden breakup since everyone at the station are woories about him (remember that asked how he was doing.) We also know that he was cleaning up his basement before he leaved. 1) You don't spend the whole day to clean a basement just to fall asleep. 2) You do not make plans of a new love interest when the wife is still around. Crazy Dave writes:: I don't believe that they ever mention in the film itself that Truman has a camera in his ring. However, it was shown in the movie's ads and mentioned in various documentation regarding the movie, along with the fact that it was something he always wore because it came from his father. In the final scenes of the film, it is obvious that he is NOT wearing the ring. Knowing that his father wasn't real, it probably had no meaning to him any more so he removed it.; 15 of 6576 found this helpful. Did you?
