Bush, George - Pearl Harbor Day?

I wish someone else can confirm this one. I am sure that during the '88 campaign Bush said to a crowd on SEPTEMBER 7, "Today is Pearl Harbor Day."

I guess it might be in some old papers. Anyone remember this?
