In the scene where the ball is going to begin and Pochenko and Miller are dancing then the ball does start and there are tons of people dancing. If you look in the very bottom left hand corner you can see a man in jeans and a puffy blue jacket, he is also wearing head phones so I don't suppose he supposed to be there, he is just one of the crew!
