When Kimble is entering a railway tunnel about midway through the film, if you look at the bottom of the screen you can clearly see the bonnet of a car, rolling along on the train-tracks behind him This is the camera car and it is there as the tracks are flat and level, giving a perfect line for the camera to go along.
