In the Jurassic Park Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) says to Dr. Grant (Sam Neill) he has no kids. But in The Lost World he has a daughter who is about 13. If he had a kid since the first Jurassic park she would only be about 4. Right? And you know that this isn't 13 years later because, you see Timmy and Lex and, they're only 4 years older then they were in the original Jurassic Park.

Hammond says early in the film that Malcolm and Sarah did not even meet until after the events of Jurassic Park. Obviously Malcolm had been married to a black girl 13 years earlier.
