In the episode entitled "Dig Those Diglett" there is a scene quite near the end where Ash and Co. discover Diglett and Dugtrio ploughing the soil and planting trees. Brock comments that the Diglett are ploughing the ground whilst the Dugtrio are planting the trees, when it is quite clearly the other way round....
In case you don't know: Diglett is the little one and
DugTRIO are the three large ones.
And you can see the Diglett making the holes, and the Dugtrio bringing the trees
