Men In Black - Shooting the Glass
When Will shoots the glass at the start. He fires twice, we see one flame out of the gun, hear two sounds, and the glass shatters before he fires.

hey are you on crack? do you have any weapon experience? when a gun is fired we sometimes see a flame...NOT ALWAYS!!! most gun powder completely burns off in the chamber, but sometimes....i repeat.....SOMETIMES....excess gun powder travels out to the tip of the barrel and ignites producing a flame.

When a gun is fired on screen, sometimes the film is not fast enough to catch the flame. As film runs at around 24 frames a second, really quick stuff sometimes can't be seen. THANK YOU! CASE CLOSED!
