About halfway through the film, Fletch goes out to Calculus' shack and looks through the window. Calculus is laying back in a recliner, watching TV, and has on a pair of boots. He tells Fletch to come in, Fletch walks through the door, and two seconds later, Calculus is now wearing socks with no boots, despite having never left the reclining position.
