In the movie right before John Smith goes to the cornfield to talk to Pocahontas, it's nighttime and raining at the fort.When John gets to the cornfield where Nokoma and Pocahontas are, it's in the afternoon and the sky is clear.

When it rains, it does get pretty dark outside. I think that the rain must have cleared up and therefore it was bright again. Nice one though.
