Halloween - Annie's Latent Psychic Abilities
The Anchor Bay edition of "Halloween" released on DVD features the extra scenes that were inserted into the TV version of "Halloween". These scenes were actually filmed during the production of "Halloween II" and were needed to make up for all the drastic cuts NBC made to the film. Anyway, they filmed a scene where Linda stops over to Laurie's house to borrow a blouse. Annie calls on the phone and wants to borrow the same blouse. When Laurie answers the downstairs phone (which is a touch-tone as opposed to a rotary phone like up in her bedroom) Annie asks her if "that guy is still creeping around her back yard." But Laurie hadn't told her about that yet. In fact, when Annie picks her up later to go babysitting, she tells Annie for the first time about seeing someone "standing in Mr. Riddle's back yard."

I think this comment might be incorrect. Annie did know that someone was creeping around in Laurie's back yard, because she called when Laurie first saw Michael. Remember Laurie sees him staring at her from behind a sheet and then the phone rings. And when she picks it up Annie is on the line eating something and doesn't answer her. Laurie freaks out and hangs up the phone. Annie calls again and then they talk about it. So then it would make sense that when Annie called again, she would ask if the guy was still creeping around. Just wanted to mention that.
