Base 10 is what we use, 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 Binary is Base 2, 0,1.

Actually, binary only uses two numbers - 1 and 0. Nevertheless the sphere is sending a message of words. You'd translate from binary to alphanumeric: what is the base-10 for?
