People do move their arms from one position to another, and one reason for this is that if they were nervous or insecure and Rachael was very nervous in that scene as it was the first time round Joshua's place etc.

Either Rachel suffers an illness that does not allow her to mover her arm or a lot of people think moving your arm is not a normal thing. This is not a slip up people move thier arm for comfort etc.

Okay, thats not necessarily a slip up because on there, it shows her trying to get into some kind of position and she is constantly moving. And Joshua is scared of the duck and CHICKEN, not goose.

OK, Rachel never puts a pillow on her lap when she's sitting on the couch...in the entire show...it doesn't happen.

She was trying to look sexy and when you're nervous, you cant really decide on a position...hence why she kept shifting positions

I remember this scene. I always thought Rachel was just nervous and kind of trying to find the best way to position herself, i never saw it as a slip up. what does everyone else think?

Also, in the same scene...Rachel's feet are up on the couch, then down on the floor, then up on the couch again!

You need to think about the filming of the show. I don't believe that it was part of the directing to make Rachel seem nervous by changing arm positions. Why? Because I believe that IF the intent of the change in arm position was to make Rachel seem nervous, they would have filmed her moving it. Since you see the position change in-between scenes, it is obvious that the director did not want to make Rachel SEEM nervous. Also, "Rachel" is notorious for slip-ups with her arms (the pillow with the hairless cat, the couch in her night-gown, the glasses she holds)

Ben, that's true but how often do people move their arm every few seconds between two positions that are exactly the same each time?

If you think about it, it IS a slip-up. It's an EDITING slip-up!
