Near the end of the movie (part 1), when Doc was struggling to reattach the electrical cable, he dropped the one he was holding in his hand. His luck was that the cable did catch at him and did not fall on the ground. In the moment the cable dropped, it can be seen clearly that it stopped on Doc shoe. After a few seconds, when he carefully reached his hand towards his foot to take the cable, it can be seen clearly it was hanging to his pants, a few inches above the shoe.
