My Cousin Vinny - Defense on Wrong Side of Courtroom...
Isn't the defense table supposed to be on the judge's right hand side? As you're facing the judge, on your left.
In this movie, it seems the defense table is on the "wrong" side. No??

No. While it is most common to see the defense on the judge's right, it is not always so. The actual "requirement" is that the prosecution sits closest to the jury. So, depending on how the courtroom is laid out (in this situation, the jury is to the judge's right) the defense may be on either side of the judge.
