When the group first meets up with "Robo-Warrior" he takes them to the basement & starts explaining that strange symbols (Cybertronial characters) have been discovered all over the world in ancient ruins. He shows a quick clip of some old film taken during an archaeological dig and states it was "shot in 1932." Problem is the film is 8mm or 16mm color footage, which wasn't available until 1935. Before that, 8mm & 16mm were black & white.
