Star Wars: Dark Lord, The Rise of Darth Vader - Lightsaber Mistake
Chapter 13, close to the end of the chapter (page 78 in hardback copy).
This section is talking about Vader building a new lightsaber.
"Sidious had provided the synthcrystal responsible for the crimson blade, along with his own lightsaber to serve as a model."
Obi-wan took Aniken's saber after their final fight, which should be the same one he gives to Luke in part 4 of the movies. In this world Aniken should not have his own saber to use as a model, because it was taken from him already...

I think I made a mistake reporting the mistake. After rereading it several times with a co-worker, we both agree that the author was referring to Sidious' saber, not Vader's. Please let me know if you think the same.
