On the episode "Hanks Unmentionable Problem" at the scene where Nancy is on the news, she tells the world about Hanks problem. So Hank kicked the plug so it would unplug so it will turn off. At one scene, it turns to Hanks back, and you can see that the TV kind of shines. This means that the TV is on and Hank unplugged it a little bit ago, so it wouldn't even turn on if you hit the power button. Unless they have a magic TV, this is a slip-up.
