Skulls, The - West Coast Coffee on the East Coast
In the scene where Joshua Jackson's character is taken from the mental institution by his girlfriend and they go to a hotel, you may notice that they are sitting on the bed drinking coffee. The cups, however, are from The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, a California purveyer of fine coffee and tea beverages. Unless these two drove cross country from the East to the West Coast, there's no way they got Coffee Bean coffee.

they do have other Coffee places on the East Coast called "The Coffee Bean" and probably Tea Leaf too. i'm almost positive that it was filmed on the East Coast because last year i went on a trip to 1,000 Islands New York i went on the tours of the castles and one of the castle's is shown in the movie the one that they boat up to and stay in(when they get all those cars and such.........although the place looks NOTHING like they make it look inside). while we were on the boat on the way to the castle we were told all about the movie and how there were people that lived on the islands that were supposedly part of the Skull and Bones secret society while they were at school in Harvard.

Did you really expect them to drive across country (the people making the film) to get some real coffee cups from the location they were supposed to be at!? Oh yea, right! That was good looking but I bet you are one of the only human beings in the world to catch such a stupid mistake.
