In "Barney gets his man" episode 30 of season one where Andy and Barney are assisting state police on a man hunt for Eddie Brooke(Barney Phillips)Andy, having spotted Brooke in the loft of an old abandoned barn decides to station Barney in the barn so as to set up Barney as the hero that captures Brooke. And he leaves a walkie talkie with Barney. Seconds after leaving Barney talks to Andy on the radio even though Andy didn't have a radio when he left. Seconds after that Andy is seen looking through a hole in the barn wall and he has no walkie talkie. After brooke is captured Andy and the two state policeman, who by that time should have been a great distance away, rush in together and none of the three have a walkie talkie. The question...how was Barney going to communicate with them if there was only one radio and how did he talk to Andy?

sorry your wrong andy had a radio when he left the barn. When andy meets state police, and they get out of cars, Andy and one of the state policeman has a radio.(13:35), Also when they enter old barn, (18:09) Andy gives Barney a walkie talkie (20:00), Andy goes out with his on shoulder. After arresting the crook, Barney's walkie talkie is still on hay bale. Andy doesn,t have his, but maybe he left it outside.
