The second season of M*A*S*H takes place in 1951 yet Col. Blake tells a returning AWOL soldier (who wants a nose job) that living at the 4077th isn't all that bad. They even had "The Thing" and "The Blob" in one week--however the movie "The Blob" wasn't released until 1958. Even the belief that a M*A*S*H unit in Korea would receive a movie as new as "The Thing" (released in 1951) is hard to believe.
