In distant shots of the tree with the treehouse, you can see only six or seven "steps" (rungs) leading up to the treehouse. After Bobby climbs up about six or seven steps, he looks up and sees (camera view) six or seven more steps leading up to the treehouse. It's as if the tree trunk is now twice as tall!
