At 22:00 into the movie, Q is briefing 007 on his new briefcase and rifle. The rifle is an Armalite AR-7. Q says the caliber is .25, but the original is .22. I guess Q Branch can make it bigger but why? Also Q points to the barrel bore and calls it an infrared telescopic sight. The stock-carrier has no place for a scope which is why 007 carries it in his pocket. Also Q shows sleeves of ammo, even though 007 later says it is a single-shot, and not having a seven shot clip as originally installed. Q wants 007 to reload single-shots many times.
