At the end of the movie when the "NEW" Kirk is being recognized for his job in saving the planet, you see in the background behind the simi-circle of Star Fleet council a California State Flag. Then the camera pans around so you see Kirk shaking Captin Pike's hand. When the camera goes back to show the flags again, the Ca flag is gone and all that is left is Star Fleet's flags.

But still....I LOVED THE MOVIE.
