In the dramatic climax of the movie (laundry of hotel), Tommy Lee Jones shouts for Dr. Kimball to give up -- saying that he (now) knows he's innocent. Then he proceeds to explain what happened to the Dr.'s wife that night. Then, as a way to convince Kimball that everything's gonna be ok if he gives up, he (Jones) says, "Richard, I'm either lying or I'm gonna shoot you!"

Huh?!?! That makes no sense!

That SHOULD have been, "I'm either TELLING THE TRUTH or I'm gonna shoot you!"
