CSI - Two-way Gas Valve
In the episode where Laurence Fishburne begins his duties as a Level 1 CSI (first aired 1/22/2009), there are two scenes where the gas valve setting, which is crucial to the garage explosion, is featured. In the first scene, near the beginning of the episode, Laurence is asked to check whether the valve is open or closed. He reports open, and the valve is shown aligned with the gas pipe. In the second scene, near the end of the show, the explanation scene shows the killer setting the corn bomb, removing the gas line, and opening the valve. The killer moves the valve from being aligned with the gas pipe to being perpendicular to the gas pipe, the exact opposite of the position in the first scene. One of the scenes shows the gas valve closed, and the other scene shows the gas valve open.
