That 70's Show! - Halloween Season II at the Cinema.
In the Halloween episode in season II. The gang decides to go see the movie "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" at the theater. During the movie Donna makes a comment that she likes a certain character and then the character is supposedly killed. Fez says "No, she was about to take her shirt off" and Hyde later makes a comment that she had to die because of "immoral vaules", we'll say for the sake of editing.
The 1974 version of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre never had any such scenes and it would have been the only Texas Chainsaw Massacre released at the time due to another one not being released until the 80's. Also, it would not have been a new release either even for the time frame that the show takes place because the show starts in 1976.
Though there is a possibility that the flim was released late in some areas because of content (especially in Europe) most places in the US released it right away. Plus, even if they could still have watched the film in a theater even though it was released earlier, their description of the film does not match up with the one released at the time and therefore does not stay true (even though for only a short period) to the reality of the era.
Special Requirements:
Epiode "Halloween" Season II also a copy of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974).
