I watched this movie recently, and I spotted this slip-up. Watch the part where Alex is performing at Central Park Zoo after it shows him as a cub. It then shows Marty, Gloria, and Melman. After a brief conversation, Marty says something like, "We should all go on vacation. I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to Connetcicut!" Marty got the idea for Connecticut on the night of his birthday, and left the same night! Is Marty psychic?
